Sydney University Sport has a growing membership of students. Lockenet was approached to host a mission critical web sign up system called “Join Online” in conjunction with the vendor, Gladstone Health and Leisure.
Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness caters to more than 50,000 Sydney University students, staff and local community. Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness (SUSF) needed a powerful software solution that would streamline sales, increase operational efficiency and improve member retention across its gyms, courts, pool, group fitness studio, sporting clubs, and student and community programs.
Typically, the start of the student year is the busiest for student signups. This year, in addition to the cloud portal, Lockenet was asked to setup a Sydney Uni Sport and Fitness tent facility for Orientation Week. The tents were wired to the internet before the event and computers were set up. Once the students arrived the cloud site was heavily used for membership sign up under load without incident.
